Mustard Seed Project is a UK Registered Charity and also registered as a Charitable Trust in Kenya working with people in Mgongeni an urban slum on the outskirts of Mombasa, Kenya.
The main objective of Mustard Seed Project is to work with the community to empower the people to take action to improve their environment and basic facilities through training, education, improved healthcare and better services that will take control and provide a better future for their families.

Key responsibilities:

Key responsibilities:
- Training basic IT skills to the community
- Serve as technical point of contact/support for the whole organization.
- Identify appropriate training methodologies and assist in delivery of such training to other employees.
- Advice/ assist in the development of marketing and promotional materials
- Manage day to day running and operations of the training facility
- Develop educational content and manuals
Requirements:
- Diploma in IT, or Diploma in Computer Science, or Diploma in Education
- 1 year experience training IT related skills
- Knowledge and skills on software and hardware installation and maintenance
- Excellent in technical project management;
- Good networking, interpersonal and presentation skills;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Knowledge of linux systems (ubuntu) is an added advantage but not a must
The IT trainer will undergo a three (3) months probationary period for the first three months upon initiation of employment.
