Business Analyst Job opportunity in Nairobi Kenya

The Business Analyst will provide a key link between the operational unit and the finance department. 
Duties and Responsibilities
 
Preparation and monitoring of budgets and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) information
 
Preparation of management accounts and reconciliation to budgets
 
Providing analysis, forecasts and other relevant information to senior management and external consultants.
 
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of [4] years relevant experience in preparing budgets, management accounting & KPI monitoring
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to create financial models
  • An undergraduate degree in engineering is desirable. MBA degree and/or accounting qualification is also desirable
  • Prior experience with Pastel Accounting Software is desirable

Job Purpose:

Required Skills and Competencies:

Community Economic Development (CED) Program Manager Career in Kenya - Nuru International


Nuru’s Community Economic Development (CED) Program Manager is experienced in operational and performance management of rural microcredit and savings programs serving one to two thousand clients in remote, agricultural communities.

Specific Skills and Attributes:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or International Development, MBA preferred.
  • At least 2 years operational field experience in microfinance (rural credit cooperatives or microsavings and microcredit institutions preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of project management, preferably in an international setting.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining information systems (experience with Mifos MIS strongly preferred).
  • Formal data management experience, solid quantitative skills, and advanced level experience with Excel.
  • Prior experience living and working in the developing world.

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Electronics.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in the area of implementation and support if windows/Linux operating systems.
  • Experience and certification for implementation of Intel based servers from HP or IBM or Dell (A MUST).
  • A Microsoft certification required like MCSE, A+ etc.
