1.ASSISTANT REGISTRAR GRADE XII

The applicant;
a) Must have served as a Senior Administrative Assistant for a minimum of three (3) years and exemplary work performance
b) Must have a Masters degree in relevant field
c) CPS/Higher National Diploma in relevant field will be an added advantage

� Be holders of Bachelor of Arts degree in Building Economics from a recognized university
� Be registered by the Board of Architects and Quantity of Surveyors of Kenya

ARCHITECT GRADE XII

Applicants must:
� Have Bachelor of Architecture degree and a three (3) years relevant experience in large architectural firm.
� Be registered by the Board of Architects and Quantity of Surveyors of Kenya
� Be knowledgeable in relevant computer packages
The successful candidate will do Architectural Designs for the University College as well as oversee other Architectural works contracted to selected consultants and contractors. The applicant must demonstrate high degree of integrity plus excellent communication skills and interpersonal qualities in the client- contractor relationship. The successful candidate must be conversant with public sector procurement systems and processes, and be registered by the Board of Architects and Quantity of Surveyors of Kenya.
Employment for this post will be on a three years contract which may be renewed.

Salary Scales

• Senior Procurement Officer Grade XIII: Ksh 55,848 x 1,856 - Ksh 75,600 p.m

• Assistant Registrar grade XII: Ksh 52,931x 1,760 - Ksh 70,769p.m

• Quantity Surveyor Grade XII /Architect Grade XII: Ksh 52,931x 1,760 - Ksh 70,769p.m

SENIOR PROCUREMENT OFFICER Job GRADE XIII

The applicants;
a) Must have worked as a Procurement Officer for a minimum of 3 years with exemplary work experience
b) Must have a Masters degree in relevant field with a diploma in Supplies Management or equivalent OR a Bachelor�s degree in relevant field with post-graduate diploma in Supplies Management from a recognized institution with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Duties and Responsibilities
� Implementation and enforcement of University College procurement plan
� Developing and maintaining an up to date procurement plan
� Preparing quarterly and annual procurement reports
� Monitoring prices of goods by undertaking periodic market surveys.
� Responsible of inventory control, procurement and disposal of stores and assets
� Ensuring that assets are properly insured
� Advising the Management on standard public procurement policies,
procedures, practices and system
� Supervising staff under him/her
� will serve as the Secretary to the University College Tender Committee
� Responsible for staff development and training in the department
� Perform any other duties that may be assigned by his/her supervisors
The successful candidate must be conversant with public sector procurement systems and processes, be a member of a relevant professional body [e.g. Kenya Institute of Supplies and Management (KISM)
