MSF Belgium Pharmaceutical Technologist Job in Nairobi , Kenya.


Medecins Sans Frontieres – Belgium is looking for aPharmaceutical Technologist in Nairobi, Kibera Project, on a fixed term / extendable contract.

The selected candidate will report to the Project, Pharmacist and Medical Coordinator for daily and technical supervision respectively. 

He/she will be responsible for the good organisation and functioning of the medical store and clinics pharmacies in Kibera slum, in close collaboration with the Medical and Coordination teams, and in accordance with MSF standards.
 
Main tasks include, but not limited to:
  1. Order management
  2. Supply management
  3. Stock management
  4. Data management
  5. Technical support
  6. Providing tools, training and supervision
Requirements:
  • Experienced Pharmaceutical Technologist
  • Be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board

Chief of Party:
 
Minimum 10 years of senior-level experience designing, implementing, and managing malaria and health projects, preferably in Africa; USAID experience preferred

Malaria/IRS Epidemiology and Entomology M&E Specialist:

Excellent leadership, analytical, and data gathering skills

Office Manager:

ICAP of Columbia University Consultancy for Programme Evaluation for ICAP Nyanza Program


ICAP of Columbia University is working in partnership with the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation and the Ministry of Medical Services to strengthen HIV prevention, care and treatment services at provincial and district health facilities in Nyanza Province.

This program is part of a US Government initiative against HIV in Kenya which receives funding from PEPFAR through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

ICAP is supporting 137 health facilities in implementation of HIV care and treatment, Prevention of mother-to-child transmission, Provider-initiated counseling and testing and TB/HIV collaborative activities in Siaya, Bondo, Rarieda and Nyando Districts.

Applications are invited for a public health consultant to perform a mid-term program evaluation in Nyando, Muhoroni and Nyakach Districts.

The terms of reference for the consultancy are:
  1. To review baseline and regular program data describing progress of HIV care and treatment, TB/HIV, PITC, PMTCT, EID, PwP, laboratory and PITC activities.
