Head Of M-Banking & M- Payments Vacancies


Position: Head Of M-Banking & M- Payments.
Our client is looking for a head of M-banking and M-payments to manage the key business unit for M-banking and M-payments, to increase revenue and profitability by:
•    Establishing strong and long lasting partnerships with key banks and merchants
•    Increasing usage of services (consumer activation)
•    Increase quality, productivity and efficiency of teams
Areas of Responsibility:
•    Build and manage capacity to sell, roll out and support mobile banking and mobile payment services to banks and merchants.

•    Manage and coach the M-banking/M-payments team towards better individual and team performance.
•    Take responsibility for the M-banking/M-payment BU’s profit and loss ensuring both top line as well as bottom line results.
•    Increase usage of services, e.g. by activating consumers, adding new services, direct marketing, improving processes and technology.
•    Manage delivery process to ensure timely and high quality delivery of new products, e.g. deployment of mobile banking; new services such as m-payments.
Candidate Requirements:
•    7 - 10 years in consulting/business development/entrepreneur
•    Strong at building partnerships with key stakeholders in multinational organisations, especially banks
•    Must have managed multiple teams for a minimum of 4 years
•    Understands and acts based on dynamics in mobile commerce, banking and payments/merchants sectors
•    Must have experience or interest in mobile technology and products

FSD Kenya Social Protection Payments Analyst Job in Nairobi


Social Protection Payments Analyst FSD Kenya was established in 2005 by a number of Kenya’s development partners to support the expansion of inclusive financial markets. Our goal is to use financial inclusion as a tool to improve the livelihoods of the poor in Kenya.
In the last decade, social protection has emerged as a useful tool to address poverty and vulnerability through regular cash transfers to millions of vulnerable households. FSD has been managing the payment component of the Hunger Safety Net Programme (HSNP) which oversees cash transfers to households affected by chronic hunger ¡n the Northern region on behalf of the Department for International Development (DFID). In addition to HSNP, there are four other major cash transfer programmes with different management structures. These operate under the rubric of the recently established National Safety Net Programme (NSNP) which ¡s tasked with creating a framework around which the five programmes will be coordinated and harmonised. We are now seeking a Payment Specialist whose work will entail:Providing technical advice on payment related matters including development of a new payment architecture for the five programmes under NSNP.Defining a clear calendar of payments by programmes including that of the transfer window.Identifying minimum standards for payment service providers.Defining a monitoring system to track compliance with new standards/regulations governing paymentsEffective liaison with key stakeholders and supporting the procurement of payment service providers or amendment to the existing service agreements.Relevant academic qualification (minimum of bachelor’s degree).Excellent and proven knowledge of the payments framework in Kenya.At least 10 years’ experience working in the financial sector.Proven experience in project management.A detailed terms of reference can be downloaded from our website (under the Opportunities section). If you think you are the right person for this exceptional opportunity, then send your CV and covering letter by email to jobs@hcsafrica.com.Please put ‘Social Protection Payment Specialist’ in the subject line. Closing date: Monday 8th July, 2013.Related Posts Widget for Blogger
