Registered Physiotherapist III
The Nairobi City County Public Service Board (NCPSB) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant positions.

REMUNERATION
Salary Scale:    Kshs 23,780.00 to Kshs 29,190.00
House Allowance: Kshs 6,750.00
Commuter Allowance: Kshs 4,000.00
Risk Allowance: Ksh 2,000.00
Extraneous Allowance: Kshs 7,000.00

Roles

·         Providing physiotherapy services to patients in an outpatient unit/ ward/health institution
·         Assessing patients’ needs including rehabilitation
·         Colleting, Verifying and maintaining information related to patients
·         Screening, assessing and providing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy and hydrotherapy as per the patients/clients formulated treatment plan
·         Sensitizing the community on physiotherapy services
·         Preparing periodic reports

Qualifications

·         Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education -K.C.S.E., grade C or above or its equivalent with passes in the relevant subjects.
·         Diploma in physiotherapy from a recognized institution
·         Certificate in computer supplication skills from a recognized institution
·         Certificate of registration from the physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK)
·         Current certificate of practice from Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK)

Roles

·         Compiling statistical records;
·         Sorting, filing and dispatching letters;
·         Maintain an efficient filing system;
·         Processing appointments, promotions, discipline, transfers and other related duties in human resource management;
·         Computation of financial or statistical records based on routine or special sources of information;
·         Preparing payment vouchers; and
·         Compiling data and drafting simple letters.

Qualifications

·         Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C Plain or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
·         Proficiency in computer applications.
