Position: Project Finance Officer (Accountant)
CHAK, a national network of Protestant Churches’ health facilities and programs in Kenya, is seeking to recruit a Project Finance Officer (Accountant) to join the Finance Department team.Reporting to the Finance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for;Maintenance of Books of AccountsSupport preparation of budgets and financial transactionsEnsuring compliance with Donor Partner financial requirements and regulationsReview monthly financial reports from sub-grantees to ensure compliance with budget and donor regulationsSupport preparation of project financial reports for Partners and ManagementFacilitate financial capacity building for implementing health facilitiesGood oral and written communication skills with ability to work in a team environmentGood interpersonal skills, self-motivated and willingness to work long hoursComputer literate with working knowledge of Excel, and various Accounting PackagesMust be willing to travel extensively within KenyaMinimum Education and Professional requirementA minimum of graduate degree in Commerce, Economics or Business AdministrationA certified public accountant (CPA- K)At least two years relevant post qualification experience.Applications with detailed CV, names and addresses of three referees and daytime contact should be delivered through mail, fax or email addressed to:
