Their extensible technology solutions allows companies to rapidly develop and deploy new mobile applications at a lower cost, while taking advantage of investments in their existing technology infrastructure. Our client focuses on leveraging business processes and technology to deliver immediate and future advantage to its clients.

They are looking to recruit a high caliber individual for the position of Sales and Marketing Manager. The Sales and Marketing Manager serves in a “dual role” management position: specifically in Sales and Marketing.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Direct the actual distribution or movement of the company’s products and services to the pharmaceutical, educational, and medical clientele
  • Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives
  • Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of company’s clientele
  • Determine the demand for products and services offered by the company and its competitors and identify potential customers
  • Develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the company’s profits or share of the market while ensuring the company’s customers are satisfied
  • Oversee product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services
Tasks
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
  • Oversee regional and local sales managers and their staffs
  • Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs
  • Determine price schedules and discount rates
  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
  • Prepare sales budgets and approve sales budget expenditures
  • Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications
  • Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of the company’s software solutions products and services, or other subjects of sale. (Third party software: antivirus software, etc)
  • Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote the company’s products and services, working with advertising and promotion managers
  • Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors
  • Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of marketing and sales staff and oversee their daily activities
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections
  • Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction
  • Compile lists describing the company’s products and service offerings
  • Initiate market research studies and analyze their findings
  • Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends
  • Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, and production managers, to market the company’s products and services
  • Consult with buying personnel to gain advice regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand
Skills and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sales and Marketing and Business Processes
  • Experience managing and meeting sales regions and sales quotas
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding marketing strategies to advertise the company’s products and services
