Mechanics Supervisor Job in Kenya - Energy Sector Multinational Company

We are a leading multinational Company within the Energy Sector who are seeking to recruit a performance driven individual to fill a vacant position of Mechanics Supervisor.

Position Purpose: - To provide technical & related services to mechanics to enhance operational efficiency in line with the company’s business policies and good engineering practices.

The ideal candidate’s principal accountabilities will include:

• Monitoring sales activities at the Service Bays.
• Managing the market segment at the Service Bays by achieving set targets for volumes & margins.
• Co-ordinating mechanics and greaser activities to ensure customer satisfaction & retention.

• Offering technical support to mechanics & greasers.
• Identifying and implementing strategies on Service Bay business growth & developing new marketing opportunities of lubricants in the Service Bays.
• Optimizing overhead expenses like Service Bay equipment maintenance & repairs.
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism at the Service Bays.
• Offering training to mechanics, greasers & Service Bay staff.

The Requirements:

• Degree/Higher National Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering from a reputed University/College;
• At least three years hands on experience in a large busy automotive workshop.
• Focused individual with attention to detail & ability to work under pressure, odd hours and to a tight deadline.
• A team player.
• In possession of valid driver’s license.
