teaching positions in various Faculties and Sections
1.ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR GRADE XIV.

� Agronomy/Crop Science (1 post)
Applicants:
b) Must have a PhD or its academic equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized university
g) Must have at least three (3) years of teaching experience and research since becoming a senior lecturer in a recognized university.
h) Must have at least four(4) articles in refereed journal(s) or one book plus two(2) articles since appointment as a senior lecturer
i) Should have supervised postgraduate students
j) Should have attended and contributed at learned conferences, seminars and workshops
k) Should show evidence of academic leadership in the area of specialization through joint research publications
g) Should be a member of a recognized professional society.
h) Should have evidence of continued research and effective teaching
i) Should show evidence of leadership (administrative experience, active participation in Departmental/ Faculty university activities, as well as national and international activities.
2.SENIOR LECTURER: GRADE XIII.

f) Must have at least five (5) years of university teaching experience, three of which must have been at lecturer level.
g) Must have at least four (4) articles in refereed journal(s) or one(1) refereed book in a candidate professional area published by recognized publishers, plus two (2) articles in refereed journals since the last promotion OR
h) Must have a Masters degree in the relevant field from a recognized
university Plus five(5) years of university teaching experience after
becoming a lecturer and six (6) publications or one (1) refereed book in a candidate professional area published by recognized publishers , plus three(3) articles in referred journals since becoming a lecturer

- Assistant Lecturer Grade XI: Ksh 47,463 x 1,630 - Ksh 67,759 p.m
