ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Qualifications and experience
o BSc. degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering, orequivalent field.
o 5 years experience with two years background in the sugarindustry is an added advantage.
o Diploma in electrical engineering - power option, EIT III orEET III
o Have practical knowledge in Electronic Systems, ElectronicsTroubleshooting, Electronic Testing Design, Project Management, Quality Focus,Analyzing Information, excellent diagnostic skills and Innovation
o Registration with Kenya Engineers Registration Board.
Duties and Responsibilities
o Maintaining, installing, monitoring and upgrading electronicsystems and equipment to attain efficiency, reliability and optimalperformance.
o Ensure training of machine operators and electrical staff
o Set and communicate safety standards relating to electronicsystems, equipment and enforce compliance with the Energy Regulatory Commission
o Oversee electrical repairs of plant and other office facilities
o Coordinate repairing of malfunctioned machinery andequipment
