Roaming Service Engineer

We are pleased to announce the following vacancy in the Network Operations Support Department within the Technical Division.
In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below:
Roaming Service Engineer
Ref:TECHNICAL_RSE_JUNE 2010
Reporting to the Senior Manager; IN/VAS Support the holder of the position will responsible for the roaming Services which include; change management, roaming Services faulting, process improvement and Roma system faulting.
Key responsibilities:

• Ensure roaming service continuously perform within or exceed KPI;
• Ensure ability of the network to support specific forms of traffic, and to support end user experience SLAs;
• Participate in the implementation of new Projects and/or service enhancements;
• Resolve faults on roaming services and escalate to roaming partners and system provider if needed and follow through;

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Telecoms engineering or in IT;
• 2 years experience in GSM/Switching Sub System first line maintenance;
• Must be able to work without supervision and meet tight deadlines/schedules;
• Analytical , problem solving skills;
• Proactive & self motivated;
