Established in UK in 1984, Islamic Relief is an international NGO seeking to promote sustainable economic and social development by working with local communities in relief and development activities. We aim to help the needy regardless of race, religion and gender. IRK is seeking services of a qualified and experienced consultant(s) to carry out End of Project Evaluation for an ECHO funded nutrition project in Mandera (North and East) and Wajir (West and North) counties with the aim of evaluating the relevance, appropriateness, effectiveness, efficiency and impact of the interventions carried out under this project.The specific objectives of the consultancy are;

Determine to which extent the project’s specific objective has been met, and the extent the intended beneficiaries have been impacted.Assess the project performance in terms of its relevance, appropriateness, timeliness, effectiveness and efficiency.Provide a thorough analysis of data available to produce evidence regarding improvement/ changes or impact realized as a result of this interventionDocument lessons learned related to the programme and provide practical recommendations for improving the execution, replication and up scaling of future similar interventions.Qualifications and Experience of the consultant;Post-graduate degree in Nutrition, WASH, Social Sciences or related field.Relevant experience of conducting evaluations in emergency /humanitarian Programmes;Familiarity with nutrition and/or WASH programming in humanitarian contexts;Experience in the use of participatory methodologies and developing gender sensitive evaluation methodologies;Excellent written and spoken communications skills in English.
