A local financial institution invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and self-motivated individual to fill the following vacant positions:

Business Communications Writer

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have a degree in Economics or Finance with Business Communication as an added advantage
  • Professional qualifications in Public Relations, Journalism and Communications field will be an added advantage
  • At least five years experience in business writing for a major newspaper or magazine.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to write in impeccable English.
  • Age between 30 – 40 years
  • Feature writing ability and a very high level of accuracy are very much desirable.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate preparations of manuscripts by relevant departments for publication internally and externally.
  • Write articles and edit manuscripts for in-house & external publications as well as the website.
  • Prepare public education and awareness materials.
  • Draft press releases and adverts in consultation with relevant departments.
  • Any other duty assigned by the management.
Graphic Designer Officer

Minimum Requirements
  • Must have a degree or diploma in graphic design.
  • Proficiency in graphics software such Creative Suites applications and other designed packages
  • Creative flair with a high level of technical ability
  • At least 3 years’ working experience in a busy design environment, designing magazines, brochures and other publications.
  • Certification in web design and experience in photography and video-graphy are added advantages.
  • Age: 25 – 40 years
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Design the institution’s publications
  • Propose and develop design concepts for the institutions publicity materials, calendars and Season’s Greetings cards
  • Liaise with printers for publications outside the institution
  • Typeset staff articles for in-house magazines, external newsletters and weekly bulletins
  • Be in charge of storage and care of publications
  • Undertake Photo retouching and basic colour correction.
Conveyancing Clerk

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Hold a diploma in Legal Studies attained from a reputable institution (a first degree in any social science discipline being an added advantage)
  • Have excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken) and general communication skills
  • Be conversant with drafting of the various legal instruments used as securities for advanced facilities
  • Have working or general knowledge of the laws relating to land ownership, transfers, charges, mortgages and other related aspects including stamping and guarantees
  • Have thorough knowledge of the legal requirements and procedures relating to the registration of titles, mortgages, charges and other land-based security instruments
  • Have at least seven (7) years practical experience in conveyancing, attained in a busy conveyancing environment preferably in a commercial bank or a reputable firm of advocates
  • Be within the age bracket of 25 - 35 years
  • Have excellent demeanour and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work with minimum supervision and under tight schedules
  • Be registered as a court process server
  • Computer literacy is mandatory
