Del Monte Kenya Limited wishes to fill an existing vacancy for the position of Fitter Welder. The individual will join a high achieving management team, in our Engineering Department.

Position: Fitter Welder

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the position will be charged with the following key tasks:

• Welding
• Interpreting plans and fabricating
• Fitting
• Performing general maintenance
• House keeping

The Person:

The candidate should possess the following minimum requirements:-

• Minimum of Form Four Certificate Grade C- or equivalent.
• Craft or Final proficiency certificate in Welding and Fabrication.
• Knowledge in use of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
• Ability to work long and odd hours on shifts in field condition and under pressure.
• A team player and with good communications skills.
• Aged between 24 – 40 years old.
• Experience > 5 years.
