An officer at this level will be responsible to the Chief Human Resources and Administration Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- An officer at this level will be involved in various Human Resources Management and administrative activities which will include recruitment, appointment, promotion, remuneration, training, development, and welfare of staff for the Authority.
- The officer will also be responsible for the provision of the office services, management of the general registry, safe custody of the NEMA records, filing of documents and their disposal; manage vehicles, supervise and control drivers and secretarial staff.
- In addition, the officer will be responsible for development, interpretation and updating of personnel and administrative policies and procedures in conjunction with the Heads of Department.
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:
- A Bachelors degree in any social science from a recognized university
- A Masters degree in any of the following fields: Human Resource Management/Development, Public/Business Administration, or their equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
- Served as a Senior Human Resource and Administrative Officer [Grade E6] or in a comparable and relevant position for a minimum period of three [3] years,
- Computer literate
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
