Programmes Associate –KMA/RHRA Project
Reporting  directly to the organization’s focal person, the Programme’s Associate  will be responsible for providing administrative and logistical support  to the KMA/RHRA Project.
This is a one year contract with  possibility of renewal based on performance and availability of funds.  The position is available immediately.
Scope of Work
- Hold regular meetings with the focal person/team
- Coordinate and monitor implementation of activities
- Provide  logistical support for activities – convene meetings, follow up  attendance by key persons within the organizations – day to day
- Communication liaison between the organization and the Secretariat
- Identify,  Initiate, formulate, design relevant programmes and projects , in  consultation with KMA/RHRA team, for improvement of sexual and  reproductive health and rights in Kenya
- Identify funding opportunities through networking, reviews and literature searches for sexual and reproductive health and rights
- Formulate and develop concepts proposals (literature searches, documentation,
- Provide technical support (including advocacy, training, M&E to SRH programmes and projects within in KMA
- Prepare reports
- Updates on the implementation status of activities
- Prepare Progress and Financial reports as per the grant award letters (GAL) quarterly or as agreed
- Assist in the day to day running of the KMA secretariat activities
- Any other duties assigned by the KMA secretariat and council
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant disciplines including health, population, project planning
- Relevant experience in areas including health services, programmes, planning, advocacy, training.
- Advanced degree is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Proficiency in the use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email).
- Ability to plan and meet deadlines.
Salary:A competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualifications will be offered.
