PATH Accounting Associate Job in Kenya

We seek to recruit a dynamic, talented, knowledgeable and highly experienced Accounting Associate who would

• perform monthly desk audit to ensure accuracy of Field Office Financial Reports (FOFRs),
• participate as a team member to improve efficiency of finance systems,
• support opening/closing of offices and train field office staff on the process,
• ensure that labor information from field office/s is recorded accurately,
• research and prepare journal entries for reclassification of expenses, as needed,
• maintain current documentation of policies and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility and
• participate in annual audit process, preparing work-papers and schedules as assigned.

The candidate should possess an undergraduate degree in accounting or a related field. CPA highly preferred. Knowledge of USAID regulations particularly OMB Circular A-122 preferred, Minimum 3 years broad accounting and/or audit experience and ability and able to read and speak French is desirable.
