Description
We are an agricultural State Corporation specializing in tea and forestry production. We urgently seek to recruit dynamic individuals to fill the following position.
Job purpose: Reporting to the Factory unit Manager, the officer will perform the activities relating to Coordination of green leaf collection and delivery from the Corporation’s farms and out growers to the factory.
Key Responsibilities
• Route planning
• Ensure proper maintenance and servicing of vehicles
• Coordination of green leaf collection and delivery
• Proper maintenance of green leaf records
• Effective utilization of resources and Cost Control
• Enhanced positive corporate image
• Maintain records of out-growers and ensure they are paid in time.
• Preparation of accurate reports for the Factory unit manager
Minimum Requirements
• Bsc. or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
• Diploma in management is an added advantage.
• Must be Computer Literate.
• Must have 5 years of experience in Transport and logistics management especially in tea manufacturing environment.
• Be 45 years or below.
