Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all staff including those from out of Nairobi that are based in other towns.
- Manage the Society’s budget ensuring spending is in line with overall budget.
- Monitor key performance areas and ensure all targets are met.
- Review and implement internal systems and controls to improve quality service.
- Oversee payroll administration.
- In liaison with the procurement committee, ensure delivery of high quality services.
- Monitor the credit portfolio and give reports to the CMC.
- Conduct half yearly appraisal of the staff together with the Secretary of the society.
- Execute the strategic plan.
- Organise monthly meetings, record minutes and follow up on agreed action plans.
- Prepare balance score card for the staff.
- Perform 3rd appraisal of all loans before sending to the credit committee.
- Follow up on legal cases and initiation of any after approval by the CMC.
Professional Qualifications
- A graduate of Cooperative College with a Diploma
- Minimum of CPA (K) certificate
- Any management course or certificate
Additional Requirements
- Must have worked for at least 5 years in a similar position or as an Accountant in a Sacco.
- Age between 25 and 35years.
- Computer literate with a minimum of 4 packages (Quick Books is a must)
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Monthly gross salary of 40,000-42,000/= shillings per month.
