REA Vipingo Plantations Limited, a company listed on the Nairobi Stock Exchange is the largest sisal fibre producer in Africa and operates large scale estates in both Kenya and Tanzania.

REA Vipingo Plantations Limited is developing a horticultural business in Kenya and wishes to recruit a number of staff with horticultural experience.

Farm Manager

The Farm Manager will be responsible for a unit producing vegetables for export and must have management experience of working in a similar position within on organised commercial horticultural enterprise in Kenya.

The ideal candidate will be aged 30-45 years with not less than six years working experience in the horticulture industry.

The candidate must be well organised with a proven track record and should be a graduate, ideally in agriculture or a related subject, must have good communication skills and the ability to supervise a large work force.

Project Supervisors

The Project Supervisors will work under the Farm Manager and will be responsible for different aspects of horticultural operations including field management, spraying, irrigation, planting and harvesting.

Applicants should hold a recognised University Degree, ideally in agriculture or a related subject and should have not less than five years experience in the horticultural industry. Applicants must be computer literate and ideally in the age range 30-45 years.
