Our client, an established and fast growing retail brand whose core business is providing Purified water solutions for residential, commercial and industrial clients is looking for a Senior Sales Technician whose key role will be to maximize commercial and industrial sales related activities.
- Promote and sell all the company products under specified categories
- Development, design and calculation of attractive offers and promotions based on market feedback or established demand
- Prepare quotes and tenders as well as follow up on leads and repeat orders
- Develop a strong market-segment driven strategy for the penetration of the Kenya market for water treatment and disinfection based on facts and research
- Engage distributors, agents, franchisees in market penetration as well as sales and product servicing in a profitable manner
- Fully support, and take responsibility for, revenue initiatives in all segments
- Set targets per segment and sales team members and manage execution of all revenue targets
- Monitor targets on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Prepare forecasts, sales budgets and reports
- Perform training needs analysis and develop training plans as well as training programmes on various areas to fill sales team skill, knowledge or technical gaps
Qualifications/ Experience
- Preferably a University Graduate in Business Management, BCOM, Economics or other related studies.
- Technical training in water treatment technology and design, water chemistry, pump sizing, plumbing systems design and related studies an added advantage
- At least 2 years Business Development Management or related experience and at least 5 years in a Sales environment
- Team Management Experience
- Contracting and Negotiation Experience
- Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills
- A mature, presentable and focused professional.
